For other Claypool-starved europeans like me, Primus have announced a Europe Tour, including two nights in London. Two relatively cheap nights at that, tickets seem to be about £30. I'm bumping this partially because I wanted to express my excitement, but also to ask: has anyone here seen them live, preferably recently? What are they like? Is it worth me making sure I get tickets this year despite their promise to come back next year? I'm currently mega-broke, but with jobs on the Horizon, but I don't know if I trust them not to sell out, seeing as they haven't been over here in 14 goddamn years...
Also, has anyone listened to the New album, Green Naugahyde? I read a Review which spoke highly of it, but I'm always wary of Reviews these days... |
I'd say go for it on the album and the concert. I doubt you'll regret it.
I find Green Naughahyde to be an excellent romp with Claypool and friends...

I've never heard a mediocre Claypool album... even Fancy band stuff, mushroom men I find to be perfect. Claypool never does wrong in my book.
