I love when people are scared to admit they like country so they try to change what an artist is. People have said that they don't care for country here, and I think thats because they only hear the glossy slick overproduced garbage that is on country radio now. Its a good genre if you find the diamonds in the rough.

That being said, he is the only spiritual singer I've ever cared about. Songs like "the man comes around" have great music, and even with the relgeous message (which im usually against because I hate people pushing personal things) i find exceptional.

He has one song (im unaware of its popularity) called "It was Jesus" and I think its one of his better songs. When he was passionate about things he could write a song like no one else. Check it out, "It was Jesus", its a damn good song.
