TBH, I only know the album I mentioned, which was issued by CBS in 1988 and has the extraodinarily clumsy title, " L. Subramaniam with special guest Yehudi Menuhin in the USA". It sounds very Indian to me, but is probably a little watered-down and westernised.

According to Amazon, LS has 22 albums to his credit - the ones I particularly noticed were:-

Raga Sarasvatipriya - this has three 25-minute tracks and sounds like really hard-core raga.
Spanish Wave - includes Larry Coryell in the credits and seems to be an exploration of various world music styles. If you find this one, I`d be very interested, JP !
