I can't really find Swans enjoyable for that reason. It just seems that they've removed all the fun from rock whilst still using rock instrumentation. I've listened to Swans, Sigur Ros and Mogwai and all of them seem to be too bland to interest me but to harsh for me to find them beautiful. Mind you, I don't really like anything that starts with "post-".
