Beavis and Butthead
Ok, Family Guy came back on popular demand, and Futurama came back due to the fact it barely got to explore the territory it was aiming for.
But why the **** Beavis and Butthead?
I mean, firstly, the show got old after a few seasons.
Secondly, the show was brilliant but only made sense for it's time period, and has no relevance in the modern world. It's outdated as hell, and can only be understood by people who grew up in that era, really.
Thirdly, can't we find new ideas?
Such a cheap nostalgia pull. It's a shame that TV executives won't give new ideas a chance. I've only seen a piece of the new episode, and really the only funny bit was when they were covering reality shows. The rest was just pointless fanservice.
Anyone else's thoughts

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
