Probably the first Beatles song I heard as a child, I always liked "I Want To Hold Your Hand" because of its sweetness and buoyancy. The song manages to be simple and profound at the same time as it describes "that something." It shows how easy and straight-forward love can feel.
The song also suggests the power of the emotion that makes you want to hold someone's hand: the simple urge for closeness with someone you love and with whom you feel happiness when she or he is near can result in lifelong effects.
