Hey, just been looking over this thread, I know the feeling of wanting to do some live electronic music, I've seen guys like Four Tet do it and it's always seemed like something I've wanted to do.

That was some experimental song you just made there though! Were most of them your own samples you say? What kind of music are you hoping to make or do? If you're new to music production then I reckon garageband is a good place to start in order to get to grips with things like effects and stuff but like you say, it's not really for live performance.

Also, so you don't have to make a video to upload to Youtube, a good site to host your music if you don't know about it already that is, is Soundcloud. 2 hours of music for free accounts, it's a very handy site.
