For me, it's people like Arms & Sleepers who make me love music. The intimate interaction you can have with them personally, the personal thank yous they give you when they get your payment, they answer questions, etc. I get a hand sent envelope containing every poster they've ever had when I only paid for one. The price? $2.00! I didn't even pay through their website! I paid it straight to one of the member's Paypal accounts. The one time they didn't have an album I wanted, so they sent me to a German online store. I e-mailed the guy back and forth a couple times because he was always giving me updates and made sure to let me know he was busy and would have my album out as soon as possible. Everything from him was hand written too. I love that intimate interaction. Pop music feels so cold in comparison.

Great point, that's exactly what she must love, because why would you make music you don't like? Even with money. I think it's also the most mainstream way to connect with her fans in order to spread her message and beliefs across. She knows what she is capable of and I'm sure in years to come she will surprise us with it.
