We have the ability to prepare healthy and tasty meals ourselves, but we would rather shovel horrible, pre-made food into our hole of a mouth because we just don't care anymore. People don't appreciate art itself anymore, just give us a rock that's painted gold and we'll be more than happy.

You act like disposable pop music is just a new thing in this day and age. Really? You do know that the so called art from the past that you appreciate today wasn't even appreciated when it was created.
Just like when famous artists don't sell any of their work when they are alive and years later after their death they get credit and a newfound appreciation from the public.
