That's true, hip hop: I do invariably associate certain classical songs with cartoons.

I had a
Peter & The Wolf record I liked to play when I was a child, leafing through the illustrated story page pictures that came as part of the jacket. I always felt sad for the duck when the wolf swallowed her down!

The song I'll share below isn't really intended for children, but I remember loving it when I was a child and still do. My mom was learning to play guitar and sometimes played at folksy social gatherings with sing-alongs I enjoyed. She was in this cool '70s fashion phase during which she wore wide collars, colorful pantsuits, and short dresses with wild prints. I liked those years.
