You greatly understimate the ability of the individual human to act like a jackass. You've compltely ignored the historical willingness of a group of people to do absolutely repugnant **** just because everyone else was doing it.

I'm not British, but whenver these arguments occur vis-a-vis something in the states, it annoys me. "It's not a riot, it's an expression of rage" wrong mother****er, these are jackasses who are looking for an excuse. Whenever you say, "I don't agree with riots, but...." - you're excusing their behavior.

Oh, boo ****ing hooo. University fees went up. So? Let's do a mental exercise; how many rioters are Uni students who both go to school & work full time? How many are "fulltime students" who lack regular full time employment and have a middle class family to fall back upon?

This isn't a revolution, and I'd be damned if any workingclass mofo is going to risk prison time & a rap sheet over something political.
