Hate to say it as I don't like them much but Liverpool are really going to push hard this season. They have bought some genuinely decent players with experience, talent and also mostly British which will add steel.
I think Chelsea were in transition last year and they haven't added much and that transition will continue with their new manager. He has proved to be a good manager but it is far too soon for them to get back to the level of the Mourinho years.
Arsenal will always be there or there abouts but will never reach those heights of a few years back with a transfer policy that is quite simply baffling considering the finance they could draw upon.
Man City- no chance. A club that buys players for a season and then farms them out on loan the following season will never achieve a cohesive base. How many strikers have that team got through in the past 3 years? It's nearing double figures and that is no way to run a football team.
Spurs - I would so love this team to break the monopoly of the big 4 but finances restrict them. Thay have built a fantastic team but cannot take that next step into fantastic squad. Shame as 'arry is one decent guy and knows his football.
Man U - Some quality players brought in but that midfield creativity is missing. Scholes gone, Fletcher's ill health still cause for concern and Van Der Saar going still leaves unanswered questions. Top 2 for sure but not sure what position.
Villa - Hahaha. Top ten if we are lucky.
