Culturally more important 100% but better than Mezzanine? Unfortunately Blue Lines sounds dated in parts whereas Mezzanine could have been made yesterday.
I am not dissing Blue lines at all. It is a fantastic album but it has limitations.
Everyone raves about Unfinished Sympathy and quite rightly so but Lately blows me away despite the huge sample on show.
