Oooo that looks quite interesting, and it's on the Vertigo imprint so you know it's gonna be full of violence, nudity, swearing, and one or more characters have hilariously unfortunate accidents happen to them. That is now on my list of comics to read.
I picked up these two books from a thrift store today for .75 cents a piece
The Myth of Sisyphus and other essays by Albert Camus
I've been meaning to read this for quite some time now, it's just a shame I didn't get it earlier or else I could bring it up at a philosophy club meeting tomorrow with one of my old professors. I quite enjoyed Camus' other major work on existentialism,
The Stranger so I'm interested in what his take on the old myth and how he relates it to existentialism.
Shadowland by Peter Straub
Honestly this is more a novel I bought for the cover than anything else. I've never been a big Peter Straub fan because if I want to read a ghost story I'll go back to M.L. James. Problem is though I've worked my way through most of Clive Barkers good stuff already this summer so there's not a lot of big name horror left that I'm not already familiar with. Maybe it will be decent.
