I had to do something similar to this with American Pie for a History of Rock and Roll class I took. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought the song was about the story of some girl trying to get to San Francisco and her life as a hippie and how it wasn't as great as she thought...?
I would also recommend formatting this a little bit different. It's have to make out your thoughts and the lyrics. Maybe bold the lyrics and italicize your thought. That should help. |
