"Destroyer" is their worst album because of the over production. I do prefer the eponymous Kiss, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill. After Destroyer, they dumped Bob Ezrin and turned to Eddie Kramer and produced two more great hard rock albums Rock and Roll Over and Love Gun. Unfortunately by the time those two were released, they turned themselves into cartoon characters and live action dolls, and were pretty much dismissed. They upgraded their musicianship in the 80's, but their music wasn't as memorable. They simply didn't have Ace Frehley, on board anymore producing all those great riffs. The clip below is from the 1st album which is pretty much regarded as one of their best albums. Checkout the Sabbath influence three-quarters in with the time change.
