Should I stick with the 95 remasters? I assume they are probably the best right? The only reason I ask is because some times there are many people who think strongly when it comes to the sounds of some remasters, but the 95 ones are good right?

Also, I was thinking of starting with The Who Sell Out. Good idea or bad?
I`ve got most of the Who albums and a couple are the remasters, I think its a matter of personal choice really, most people I know tend to prefer them.

The Who Sell Out is a good place to start, but any reason why you are missing out on the first two albums? The evolution of the band is quite interesting throughout the 60's before they got bogged down into doing rock operas.

I hope your listen includes seeing them live on dvd, the Who are usually considered the best band live in the history of rock according to most lists. Watch the couple of songs they did at Woodstock and Isle of Wight concert and this will justify their live reputation.
