I was raised Mormon, escaped from that and now consider myself a secular humanist (aka atheist), though I've found that I identity with Taoists and Confucianists in that a lot of their focus is on common human decency. I don't believe there is a divine creator or omnipresent God, but I think that the idea of religion is a beautiful thing when it's not ****ing **** up.
