And right after Breakdance Beach, they slap Table Talk, which I think is a 10/10 track. And THEN what? "Mailbox Baseball? Mailbox Baseball..." Meh. And then Holy Driver is pretty dope.
I'm not sure what to chalk this up to. Is it them trying to appeal to a broader market  It's a decent release, above "average" but for Aesop Rock, it's not jaw-dropping across the board...

I really don't think so. It's too hard to listen to sometimes, and both artists know how to put out catchier, more consumable music.
I'm just happy to have rob sonic on some solid beats even if it doesn't meld together all the time
