There are a bunch of crazies who stand out on the busiest street downtown in my city at least once a month telling us that the world is going to end that afternoon because *insert Biblical "fact" here*.
The past three days, instead of the usual 5-7 crazies, there were at least 30.
Also, today I went out to eat dinner with my mom for her birthday. We were about to go to Cheddar's (her favorite) but a bunch of people from her work texted her asking her to go there, and she didn't want to hang out with them, so we went to another restaurant instead.
We'd been sitting down at this other restaurant for maybe ten minutes when my mom got an insane amount of text messages and calls (which she ignored). Finally, she read her text messages while we were waiting on our food, and apparently someone came running into Cheddar's with a baby (2 years old) completely covered in blood.
Turns out, the baby was shot in the face.
