Yeah very similar body style. Had the 318 in it which was adequate power for such a large car. Not the greatest but as an A-B car it was functional. Cost me 350 bucks running and with no rust damage and smogged so what can you do. True the rear ends weren't necessarily the greatest but overall the Demon is a really solid looking car. The 58 tbird was all there and i got it running before i sold it to the girl, so she got a good buy on it. Kind of has some nice classic lines on it and it had a 430 in it out of a 60 bird so it was probably more car then a teenager needed but she loves that car.

The 318 has always been known to be a dependable engine with endurance that lasted with the test of time usually, I had a 318 in a '72 Plymouth Satelite Sebring Plus, with bucket seats and slap stick, it showed a lot of spunk on the road. I did forget to mention that the Mopar 340 in the '72 Demon was one of the hottest small blocks that Ive ever owned, I would go out on a limb and suggest that the Mopar 340 was just as bad ass as the GM 327 could be, but I wont go that far. The Pontiac 400 could be just as mean as all of the others too. There's so many good basic factory engines we could talk about, let alone all the Hemi's and high performance factory engines there are to choose from.
