Cobain admitted he wrote pop songs, and he liked writing pop songs.
He can't help it if he became the idol of the only network on tv that promoted music, he was pretty ****ing famous at the time.
He wanted to not perform on mtv, but they allegedly threatened to fire people he worked with if he didn't.
If he really enjoyed his success so much i doubt he would have blasted his brains out. Your right actions speak louder then words.
Having kurt cobain be the poster boy for anything is GOOD, at least you have a genuinely authentic person as oppose to like AKON or some ****ing robot.
