Yeah, will check those albums out.

the original "Black Christmas" is an essential early slasher, shaped Halloween in many ways. Bob Clark did a great job with that one. While it is sometimes said to be the first slasher, that is untrue. However it was the first to combine all the elements that all future slashers would use. It was the blue print for all things after. It made the recipe and Halloween baked the cake I say. Also amazing to think that Bob Clark would go on to do another Christmas movie... A Christmas Story, talk about night and day there !

Also, "Cronos" is a great film. If you are a fan of Guillermo del Toro it is worth seeking out and watching. His first film I believe, a dark vampire movie. It is a classic film now. I had to pick it up, as I also love Pan's Labyrinth, thought that was one of the best films I had seen in ages. I enjoy the majority of his work.
