I agree that European power metal can get kinda repetetive and do-we-really-need-another-band-that-wish-they-could-be-Iron-Maiden-ish, but just how many American power metal bands are there? I know of Iced Earth, Kamelot...I'm sure I know more but most of the ones I can think of are more thrash or speed metal (i.e. Jag Panzer, Agent Steel, Heathen, etc).
