And I'm definitely a fan of female vocalists and lyrics! The three you listed aren't entirely my style though. I think (and I don't mean this in a bad way) I might show Mazzy Star to my mom though. She's into that sort of music. Patti Smith really didn't do anything for me at all, but I liked Jefferson Airplane a little. Thanks for the suggestions nonetheless.
Oh, by the way, I also listen to some songs by Morcheeba. Forgot to mention her earlier. :>
