16 bit 44.1khz kills most of the vinyl sound.
But you do run into some nice rips.
Often the mastering has been done differently for the vinyl version, less limiting, less accent on higher tones. It usually makes for a relaxed listen.
Still I get the idea most of the vinyl rips are done from cheap ass USB turntables and budget technics, pioneers with stock cartridges. It's nice people take the effort, but in that case my CD player is just better.
