Okay the history of this starts with some federal money that was given to our town to build it up right? they went ahead and gave it to a developer that half built the shit and tried to run away with the rest of the money. We ended up suing him and getting the money back. Now, that the money has come back of course it is less than the original amount that was given out in the first place but the city manager and the guy in charge in city planning and development are trying to say that the money can't be used for a program that my group is trying to push through because the money is being used to pay back some loan. Okay, I understand that but not ALL of the money needs to be used for that and the fact that they won't go into detail about how much is really left and what else the money is being spent on is shady as fuck. Our city is really in a budget crisis but those motherfucking police just got suped up new cruisers and shit. Some of their cars looks like those fucking police cars that you see in the New Need for Speed game where you can play as the cops. They have like dodge challengers and shit. I'm like wtf!?!?!

The program that we are trying to get funded is to help the average joe on the street get a motherfucking job. What the program does is bridge the huge gaps between existing programs that are around but they aren't helping because some people don't know about it and they don't have the resources to help employ the people on the lists that they have. If they had one central point where all the information was networked then they could pool all of their resources and put loads of people to work.
