Price Tag is just a ridiculous song. It tries to rail against the greed of the music industry, but it uses the classic generic chord sequence the whole way through, uses daft throwaway lyrics (the 'everybody look to their left/right' bit as well as the detestable ching/bling rhyme) and is sung by a cut-and-paste girl-power puppet.
That and, for a song that claims it's not about the money, it's sure making them/her a lot of money.
As for the 'women can do everything guys can', it's all well and good until someone needs a jam jar opened
