Me and Comus sort of gave up on this chatroom idea because people didn't seem to understand IRC or the way it should be used. No offense! It's just that for an IRC chatroom to be interesting, its' users should get in the habit that when they log on their computer, they also log on IRC and the chatroom - and stay there. F.ex you don't enter it then leave after 5 minutes because people didn't reply - which is what a lot of people did. IRC clients normally don't howl every time someone writes something while you're not paying attention so just discovering that someone's logged on and wants to chat might take a little while. If people leave because it seems dead the moment they come in, then they'll be gone by the time someone notices they were there.
So, I figure IRC doesn't work as an official kind of musicbanter chatroom. But, if anyone's interested in chatting a bit, I'll be hanging there the next few days.
edit :
Those who don't want to install an IRC client can try this webchat interface :
https://webchat.rizon.net/
just put musicbanter in the channels box and figure out the rest yourself!
