Explosion in the Sky - Any album will do fine imo. (The earth is not a cold dead place is good) I'm not a huge fan of theirs but they are pretty much the best gateway post-rock band out there and have some pretty cool songs.
All these are quite easy to get into. If you enjoy these you must listen to Godspeed You! Black Emperor's Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. GY!BE might be harder to get into because of the 20min songs with movements but it's totally worth it in the long run.

It was about 110 minutes and they said nothing, no hello or bye. They just came, played and went away from stage. People weren't sorry about it because the music is what everybody came for. |
