I make his ipod for him, he gets 50% hip hop 50% whatever else I give him. Been shoving lots or Prog album club stuff in his face, putting him through the gamut of Buckethead albums, Ozric Tentacles, etc.
But like you said, this is definitely THE place to fall in love with something new.
