Default The Official "Let's Go Orioles" Thread

So the Baltimore Orioles lost last night and are down 3-0 in the seven-game American League Championship Series. Their opponents, the Kansas City Royals, are now 7-0 in the postseason and looking undefeatable. The winner of this series plays the National League champion in the World Series.

I'm cheering for Kansas City just because, but MB's beloved Sequoioideae (there, I can spell it… I think….) has wanted to see Baltimore in the World Series since he was a kid. Whether you're a baseball fan or not, please take this opportunity to send good vibes to the Orioles for tonight's game.

I personally hope that the Orioles win the next three games.

I am now blaming you all for Baltimore's loss.

Growing up in the late 60s / early 70s they were my second favorite team. Mainly because of Mark Belanger (we share the same last name).

Alright, for a half-second after I saw "Let's go Orioles" I thought it was saying something much kinkier. **** this thread.

I'm here to cheer on the Baltimore Orioles 100% ! That may ring a little hollow as I know nothing about them, but if P_S likes them, that's good enough for me.

Edit: Are they in any way connected to the cookie of the same name?

Well, I am from Baltimore so obviously I'm cheering this thread on. My favorite player is Brooks Robinson.

I can see why you like the Blade, though, Chula. He may not have been the greatest hitter but defensively, as good as Cal Ripken was, Belanger could field like no other shortstop I saw; that includes Ozzie Smith.

And like you, we hate the New York Yankees

I wondered what could have dredged up this thread. Thanks, Lisna

Diehard Jays fan here, but I've been been to games at Camden and the people were great, even when being routed.
