I've actually downloaded both of your guys comps already with the intentions of checking them out. Both sound great, but I've got so much stuff to listen to atm it's making my head spin. Gonna throw both on the mp3 player and listen at work later I think.

The Beginner's Guide To Belle & Sebastian
Whilst they may have started out as a simple music course project of leader Stuart Murdoch, Belle & Sebastian have gone on to craft some of the smartest, most purely enjoyable pop of the last 20 years. The group have evolved from the twee of their Tigermilk debut, through the chamber pop of their 1996 masterpiece If You're Feeling Sinister and the delightful folk-pop gems that comprised their breakthrough The Boy With The Arab Strap, happily changing their sound to incorporate genres as diverse as Northern Soul, glam rock, jangle pop and chamber pop. With a new album this year, it's never too late to get acquanited with this lot's joys. Track listing 1.The Stars Of Track And Field 2.It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career 3.The State I Am In 4.If She Wants Me 5.Lazy Line Painter Jane 6.She's Losing It 7.Seymour Stein 8.Piazza,New York Catcher 9.A Century Of Fakers 10.The Blues Are Still Blue 11.The Boy With The Arab Strap 12.The Boy Done Wrong Again 13.I'm Waking Up To Us 14.Judy And The Dream Of Horses 1,12,14 from If You're Feeling Sinister 2,7,11 from The Boy With The Arab Strap 3,6 from Tigermilk 4,8 from Dear Catastrophe Waitress 5,9,13 from Push Barman To Open Old Wounds 10 from The Life Pursuit Belle & Sebastian.rar |

just copied and pasted from tumblor, advanced beginner's guide to when pop were still an art form, like:
Originally compiled for my friend Trix; a spiritual sequel to my 2007 Teatime Psychotropics compilation of transatlantic 1960s psychedelic pop. A few non-UK/US groups. Mostly obscurities. Goes from the baroque and whimsical to more garage rock-y in the second half. Contains the best cover of Tomorrow’s ‘Real Life Permanent Dream’ you will ever hear. Non-aficionados of the era should probably steer clear and listen to fucking Deerhunter or something Revenge of the Attack of Teatime Psychotropicks.zip 1. Scarecrow’s Love Affair - Blues Magoos 2. Time Track - Skip Bifferty 3. Life Is Short - Billy Nicholls 4. What Does It Feel - The End 5. When The Alarm Clock Rings - Blossom Toes 6. The Birthday - The Idle Race 7. Yo Recuerdo Mi Mundo - Los Shakers 8. 14 Hour Technicolour Dream - The Syn 9. Wake Up Cherylina - The Smoke 10. Real Life Permanent Dream - Orange Machine 11. Starvation - The Golden Dawn 12. Feathered Fish - The Sons Of Adam 13. The Letter - The Mops 14. Changing The Colors Of Life - Los Chijuas 15. All Night Stand - The Thoughts 16. 99th Floor - The Moving Sidewalks |
