Another remix. DOOM acapellas mixed with beats by Grip Grand. Not bad.

So, I've listened to this GG DOOM three or four times now. Probably more times than I listened to the JJ DOOM thing, which I've pretty much forgotten all about because it's just so-so.
Here are my criticisms, both negative and positive: The beats sound like copies of DOOM's own beats. The beats are good. There are a bunch of great moments, and lots of great DOOM verses. There are too many of DOOM's cartoony samples, and similar ones, thrown in. Those samples aren't bad, but I'd rather hear more of his own raps and less of that stuff. Overall I think this falls somewhere between good and very good as a listening experience for DOOM fans. Most of it is enjoyable, some of it is boring, and a fair number of head-nodding moments will make you stop anything else you're doing or thinking and just silently say "goddamn" - in a good way. Recommended.
