Default This Boy George Album It's What I Do

I just came across this album and it has some interesting songs on it. We don't have anything stunning here, but it's nice to hear his voice again.
He's not a pimp, but I could see him pulling off wearing a hat like that.....

Is this a recent album that he released? I'm a little surprised someone would mention Boy George. Is he making his big come back or something to that effect?

I seen this post and another one resembling this one titled George Michaels vs George O' Dowd in the pop forum so I thought I would ask.

I was actually scrolling around for a listen to Boy's Do You Really Want To Hurt Me and a few of his other hits when I came across the new songs on You Tube which are actually from a new album that was released about a year ago. It's really true with no record label waving flags for you or saturating the internet with info about Boy George it was a very small blip on the rock radar. Having said that he takes a few chances on this album and most importantly you hear that unmistakable voice which is what it was all about in the first place...........

He's actually a very skilled DJ. In my humble opinion.

And this is what? 3-4 years old. Give it a second, it warms up...

Hey thanks for the information, I really liked him back in his debut days, church of the poison mind was a favorite.

I'll give it a listen.

http://www.musicbanter.com/games-lis...litz-game.html is the reason I'm bumping this thread, and if not this specific album, I'd be curious to know what the consensus is on Boy George these days.

I still remember his debut on the Top of the Pops t.v program. To my disappointment, not only my mum, but some of my friends were also saying, "What does he think he looks like?" in that rising tone which indicates outrage.

In Britain, people soon realized that his music was less interesting than his appearance, and if anything, he became a bit of a laughing-stock I believe.

I admit when I first saw the Culture Club video, he looked a little, um, strange. I have no idea what he's doing now but he was pretty f***** up for a while

I have no frame of reference - Culture Club was never anything I listened to, I know they were super popular in the 80s for a minute. Didn't Boy George have some off stage legal issues about 10 or 15 years ago? I remember when I was a kid, I saw him on the news doing community service. That's really all I know of him, and of course that he's a bit of a punchline for various reasons.

Boy George had something of a drug problem. It's a miracle he didn't kill himself actually. Yeah, the gossip police had a field day when he was forced to pick up litter for community service.

I only know Karma Chameleon and I hate it with the fury of a thousand suns. He might have better songs that I haven't heard.
