Genres are a fave topic of mine. But he disagrees with me about it so much that he keeps insulting my intelligence and saying I was calling myself some an expert when I have said nothing like that. Going too far. Do you approve of your own moderators trying to get a heated reaction out of users? Not only is this irresponsibility from the mod but the admins should at least take a little action.

I'm not asking for him to be punished. Can you please keep him away from that thread for a while, and tell him that his behavior is uncivilized for a mod? Moderators need to maintain peace and be an example of following rules and showing some respect for other users. Everyone has something that eggs them on. I do not like being insulted specifically because I talk about genres. My family does it to me all the time by calling me a pretentious critic. I come here to talk about music and get away from that, but Frownland doesn't seem to realize everyone has a limit before they blow.

Recently, Frownland has been insulting my intelligence and saying I was pompous all because of my opinions on genres. I do not take pride in any "skill" I may or may not have in discerning one genre from another, but he is even going as far as to insult by intelligence by replying that he had an album to recommend me, and then posted a picture of a book. He made several jokes similar to this. I told him that was uncalled for. But he keeps egging me on in my own "Rock Album Survivor Journal," and now I'm afraid to even post in my own journal. I don't like getting pissed, and I've let a lot go. But Frownland does not stop. If I say one more thing he doesn't agree with, he'll attempt to get another reaction out of me.
