scleaves' Early Music Career
Image removed, keep it in the members pictures gallery.
Okay so above is a picture of me. I dye my hair yellow, and will probably end up painting my fingernails black, and like most musicians, wish to make a statement about individuality if I am seen much. In personality I am mostly a stuckup realist individual who doesn't care about anything, inspired by Slipknot, Spider One from Powerman 5000, and real life individuals. I have a heart but I sometimes guard it anymore. But enough about me and my appearance, and more about my music. I will start out my career with electronic music, composing music on a computer program called FL Studio, recording my voice singing, and maybe even editing my voice to sound more computerized. The theme I plan on singing about is science fiction and the future. So far I have sang a light metal music that sounds like rap, but my style will have to change slightly. Here is what I want my songs to sound like, in singing, though I wish to be a little less light, and music: Dreams of an Absolution Music and Lyrics - YouTube Some of my songs will be angsty and some may end up more like love songs. I'll mix it up. You will eventually get to hear my singing and, at some point in time, my music. Also, I am going to be going to college for music, to get good at it. |

I wrote two songs this morning, "The Star Guardians" and "Unrecognized". You will get to hear me sing them within a few days to a week. Here are the songs I will be singing:
Song 1 - "The Star Guardians" We can't go out at night. They say there are monsters that fill you with fright. It's not like the day. Creatures want to steal you away. Keep me out past light! Keep me out past light! I don't care if they fill me with fright! Because I want to see the stars! Because I want to see the stars. The stars, they make you fall in love, the stars... they're a gift from above. The stars, they make you fall in love, the stars... they're a gift from above. Let's dance under the stars. Let's dance under the stars. Let's dance under the stars. Let's jump to the stars. The stars... they've been around since before there were cars. The stars. I wish upon a flying star. (Whatever that is.) That I will survive tonight!!! (song x2) Song 2 - "Unrecognized" I asked for a raise, the boss said he would give me a quarter mo'. Just a quarter, he says. A quarter mo'-WHOA! A quarter mo'-HAHAHAHA! All my hard work goes unrecognized. All my hard work goes unrecognized. The boss. The boss. The boss. I go unrecognized. The boss. The boss. The boss. I go unrecognized. (song x3) Hey! Hey! Hey! |

Eek bro you may need to work on making your songs less generic. Try doing something that hasn't already been done. Use a theasaurus ffs.

You kind of gave yourself away now with this statement and those two songs

Here is a practice run I did of me singing: https://soundcloud.com/#scleaves/practicerun
I won't lie, it is positively awful. I didn't get some of the lyrics sounding the way I wanted and it is one of my first few times singing this song I wrote. But even so, I will get better once I take voice lessons. I just want people to listen to my voice. |
