Wuthe...

It's like you've never had a favorite sports team in your part of where ever.

Go, go my favorite sports team. Score another... goal unit.

You know, that kind of thing.

Apparently we have people who play sports around here but I don't really care about them. Tribalism does little for me.

The basic premise is that this is a two-page spread from She-Hulk #5, a series that used a lot of 4th wall humor, and to escape a villain's trap, She-Hulk rips a hole in a page of the comic book, walks through the back issue ordering section, and then goes through another hole on the other side.

Spoiler for Big-as-****-pic!:

The real reason I post this, is that the page itself is full of nonsense. All the pricing in the background is full of dumb jokes, and this one, printed in a children's comic book in 1989, tickled my fancy.

That series had so many great/weird moments! I loved it when She Hulk got her head cut off (sort of), and her floating head told corny jokes to the audience.

John Byrne did such a good run with that comic series.

Yeah, I've started reading it again, and it's just fantastic. Sensational, even.

Makes me think he may have been the real brains behind him and Chris Claremont. There was plenty good about Uncanny X-Men when it was just Claremont, but I wouldn't call it brilliant at that point.

Is it still schadenfreude if it's a spider?
