yes it is a detail from a Dali painting....
The Metamorphosis of Narcissus i'm getting just the egg with the flower and as of right now i'm almost 100% sure it will be on my forearm below my elbow.....the artist who did my last couple loves Dali also and in particular this painting....so when i told her i had always wanted this she asked to do it at a discount .....i'll send pics when it's done |

A lot of the quotes I dig as a kid would be fairly morbid/downright macabre in ink form:
"To die would be an awfully big adventure." "After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." ad nauseum. I don't know why these resonate so solidly with me - I was convinced I would die by 21 - but wow.
