One of my alltime favorite artists. I've bought about half a dozen of his albums. Trout Mask Replica is still his masterpiece as far as I'm concerned...

I downloaded a torrent of all his albums a few months back.
I`ve yet to hear a bad one yet.Hell i`ve yet to hear one thats even average , they`re all great.

It's an acquired taste. I can see where it would be very hard to like the first time through, if you don't like it by the third time, try listening to some Zappa and Tom Waits to ease your self into Captain Beefheart.
