My best friend of 14 years turned me onto these guys a couple years ago. Magic Potion is really the only album that I'm familiar with. It has some epic fuckin' tunes on it. "You're The One" is definitely one of those songs that plays on the ol' heart strings.

My friend had actually gotten me a job where we rode around together a lot, and whenever I had been having girlfriend problems, he would always put on "Strange Desire" and say, "Fuck it, man." And we'd just cruise around our hometown and sing along.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm apathetic at best towards the Black Keys, but this collab album looks really enticing, it's been almost a decade since somebody attempted something of this scale. hopefully it turns out good.

update: the raekwon track is ****ing sublime, nothing else really stood out that much. i'll give it another listen though, it definitely has potential. more bass than i was expecting though (isn't Black Keys bass-free?).

Some of these tracks are really good, but I can't get into the entire album...

How are they superfluous? They're a two man band! I think they're doing an awesome job of keeping the blues alive.

Love The Black Keys! Rubber Factory is my favorite album they've done thus far & "The Lengths" is amazing!

I have always been pretty indifferent to the Balck Keys myself..... although I also have similar indifference to the Blues, the ocasional track appeals to me but I am just not into it that much... never to mind!

On the whole I still agree with this statement, but Rubber Factory is legit...
