If you liked White Knight that much, you'd really enjoy his late 80's/early 90's material (Nearly Human and 2nd Wind) and 2004's Liars.
Rundgren is a bonafide genius through and through, especially if you look at just how many different albums he has been involved in since the early 70's...including his production output with XTC and the Psychedelic Furs.

Album title: Louder Harder Faster Artist: Warrant Genre: Hard Rock/Glam Metal Nationality: American Release date: May 12 Position in Discography: Ninth Estimated Rating: Familiar with this artist? Heard of them Familiar with the genre or subgenre? Yes Average RYM Score: 3.08 Why are Warrant still around? What possible relevance can they have to today's rock scene? This sounds like it belongs firmly in the eighties, when such music was popular. God damn it, the only thing I can call this is embarrassing. Next! Check out more from this artist? Album title: Welcome Home Artist: Zac Brown Band Genre: Country Nationality: American Release date: May 12 Position in Discography: Fifth Estimated Rating: Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? A little Average RYM Score: 2.98 Good honest country music, lot of family values being espoused in songs like “Roots”, “My Old Man” and “Family Table”, though I have to admit “Start Over” shamelessly rips off “Under the Boardwalk”, and the closer copies the general melody of Steve Earle's “Fort Worth Blues”. Not a bad album overall, still. Check out more from this artist? Might Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Yes Actual Rating:

Album title: Senandung Senandinka Artist: Maliq & D'Essentials Genre: Pop Nationality: Indonesian Release date: May 17 Position in Discography: Eighth Estimated Rating: Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? Yes Average RYM Score: N/A Decent pop album but nothing much else. Some use of perhaps ethnic instruments (information is again hard to come across on this album) and “Senang” has a nice sort of AOR feel to it, and the title track is good too, but that's about it. Nothing special. Certainly nothing essential. Sorry. Check out more from this artist? No Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Yes Actual Rating:

Album title: Mikazuki no Kuokai Artist: Sayuri Genre: J-pop Nationality: Japanese Release date: May 15 Position in Discography: Debut Estimated Rating: Familiar with this artist? No Familiar with the genre or subgenre? No Average RYM Score: 2.91 It's really hard to listen to this without imagining the songs being sung by Hello Kitty: she just has that sort of high-pitched, cutesy voice, and of course she's Japanese. For a pop album, there's a fair bit of rock on display too. Not bad for a cartoon cat! Check out more from this artist? God no Check out more from this genre or subgenre? No Actual Rating:

Album title: Revenge Artist: XXXTentacion Genre: Hip-hop Nationality: American Release date: May 17 Position in Discography: First mixtape; third overall Estimated Rating: Familiar with this artist? No but I have heard of him Familiar with the genre or subgenre? No Average RYM Score: N/A With a title like that, I can assume this is going to be some angry stuff. Seems it is. Apparently there was some feud between him and a duck, sorry, Drake, over the opening song “Look At Me”, which is pretty hard-hitting and vitriolic, both in lyrical content and also in the music. The second track is very short, a little fragmented, then a sort of dancy one followed by what appears to be an acoustic guitar backing/sample with a sung vocal in a very faint and distant voice. Quite nice actually. That's called “King”, and near the end it powers up almost into a death metal or metal anyway roar, giving the song a real punch. “Slipknot” has a lovely jazzy piano line and is quite laid back; it's the longest of the eight tracks here, at just a second below three and a half minutes. That leaves only two tracks, with “Yung Bratz” starting off a little uncertainly, for me, then powering up into a heavy trap idea and the mixtape finishes on “RIP Roach”, another angry track, lot of power and energy in it. I couldn't call this great, but I wouldn't call it terrible. That's about all I can say really. Check out more from this artist? Not sure Check out more from this genre or subgenre? Yes Actual Rating:
