What are your favorite cover songs?!

I love cover songs! (Especially Ed Sheeran ones!) and I was wondering which covers other people are watching?!

I'm new here but I'll just drop a quick one:

Cathedral's cover of the Black Sabbath song Solitude.
Beautiful atmosphere and I love the added flute melodies.

Ulver made a pretty good cover of this song too.

I gotta be honest... I don't normally listen to Black Sabbath, but I'll take a look! As your quote says... Art is experienced subjectively!

Tip: the search here is crap. Use Google and put "Music Banter" plus what you're looking for. For instance, the search "Music Banter" + "Cover songs" brought up this: https://www.google.ie/url?sa=t&rct=j...MkIJbnoWjbbkZQ

Although the threads are a little old, you can always bump them rather than start a new one on a subject that has already been posted about.

MB does have a search function. It's in the upper bar, between New Posts and Quick Links.
