Ki's Thread For Album Reviews (Recommended By MB Members)
Yeah yeah, i'm starting a new thread on this because my first one came off a bit negative and didn't really show my true interest in things like this. Yes, that's me admitting to my mistake so you win Trollheart.
Anyway, I really want to do this the right way, and I will be keeping the list that was from the previous thread and will continue to the reviews that I haven't gotten to yet, however I want to point out some ground rules before I get into things (thanks for the idea Trollheart, i'm stealing it now).
Anyway, here's the list from the previous thread, feel free to continue sending me albums and I'll get to them as soon as I can: The Batlord- A stupid looking album with Britney Spears on it: REVIEW Trollheart - A desert picture with the word Eagles above it: REVIEW Machine - The Front Bottoms - S/T: REVIEW DwnWthVwls - Mac Lethal - 11:11: REVIEW Plankton - Dayglo Abortions - Here Today, Guano Tomorrow: REVIEW Goofle - EL-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead Frownland - Zu - The Way of the Animal Powers YorkeDaddy - Daydream Society - For Now The Batlord - Kylie Minogue - Light Years Frownland - Keiji Haino - The 21st Century Hard-Y Guide-y Man The Batlord - Ke$ha - Animal Carpe Mortem - Nekrocrafte - Hexentanz grindy - 10cc - The Original Soundtrack Jesus the Carpenter - The Oblique Perspective Plankton - The Dream - Planktons Odyssey Machine - LASERDISC VISIONS - NEW DREAMS LTD. Norg - Nothingface - Skeletons The reviews linked in this thread are for linked to the previous thread, but they are still serious reviews about the albums that I have already listened to. From here on, the reviews that will be linked will be in this thread. Last edited by Key; 07-13-2015 at 12:53 AM. |

Nice idea to start fresh.
One more suggestion, that certainly helped me: cut off the recs at a certain point, so that you can concentrate on what you have and not be constantly battling the tide. In other words, once your in-tray gets full enough, empty it and don't allow any more work in till your out-tray is, if not full, at least reasonably full. I find that otherwise, people just keep piling rec after rec on you and you end up drowning in them. And I'm saying that, with two or three recs a day being done in my thread!
