They're closed for albums, open for tracks. Also, reviewed it already and hated it. Sorry.

Anyone who doesn't appreciate Elliott Smith, D'Angelo, and Sun Kil Moon in that order must be assassinated

Sun Kil Moon's lyrics are really their only selling point imo.

Pretty much, I like Sun Kil Moon's lyrics better though.

Title: A Thing Called Divine Fits Artiste: Divine Fits Genre: Indie Rock Familiarity: Zero 1. My love is real: Feel like I'm listening to a cross between Depeche Mode and The Cars here. Very new-wave feel to it. Not mad to be honest. 2. Flaggin' a ride: Meh, again it's a bit lightweight. Sort of soulless. Not feeling it. 3. What gets you alone: Bit more upbeat, finally. Has some balls. Does that guy sound like yer man out of Sparks, or is it just me? 4. Would that not be nice: Answer, no. It's okay but nothing special. Bit boring to be honest. 5. The Salton sea: This one's not bad. Kind of a hypnotic synth. Interesting. 6. Baby get worse:A track called “Baby get worse” on an album that definitely needs to get a lot better is not very encouraging, but we'll see. Meh, it's all right I suppose. 7. Civilian stripes: Okay so now we're going for a Springsteen Nebraska acoustic vibe. This works better to be fair. Like the vocal harmonies and the piano is lovely. Yeah, like this. 8. For your heart: This is the longest track, so what can they do with it? Oh, we're back to new-wave eighties synth I see. Hmm. Not sure how much of this qualifies as rock, never mind indie rock. Very much more in the new wave camp for me. It's a decent enough song though. 9. Shivers: Oh yeah, this one is great. Like the almost raw guitar feel of it, much better than some of the new wave stuff I've heard on this up to now, with a few exceptions. 10. Like ice cream: This too. More rock, less synth please. 11. Neopolitans: Is this dedicated to our favourite member who tries so hard to be funny? Think I like it anyway. Yeah, I do. End result: Started off badly, but after the first few tracks I began to warm to it a little more. Still not an album I'd be getting back to any time soon, but it didn't turn out to be the disaster I had been anticipating. So, Love or Hate? It'll have to be a Love.
