@Eric I haven't actually heard it yet, but I tend not to enjoy metal.

I harass the shoutbox with links until the tie is broken, and abruptly close the poll.

The fact that it is 17 years old is an issue for you? Really? We regularly discuss albums faaaar older than that on this site! O_o

I don`t want to be too down on an album I`ve never heard, but Iced Earth doesn`t sound very appealing to me either. Firstly the genre, and secondly, a concept album which is based on someone else`s concept seems pretty ominous to me. Artists who can`t come up with an original concept of their own often make rather contrived concept albums, don`t they ?
I`m thinking of concept albums based on The War of The Worlds, the Works of Edgar Alan Poe, Flash Gordon.

^ One very fair approach to break a tie is to award the win to the first past the post. (That`s what tore used to do in his pioneering album club.)

Geez, a lot of hate for Iced Earth. And I thought metal was fairly popular round these parts.

But I voted for The Antlers, so I guess I can't really say anything.
