I picked the number of the album without knowing what album it was. So I can vouch. I'll continue suggesting everyone else's albums I enjoyed. |

I'm pretty excited for all the feedbacks...
It's one of the albums that I found myself liking after 3 years of purchasing (so only last year), when I grew fond of The Beatles and the likes. I'm pretty glad I gave them another chance last year, as I discovered their next two albums were also as solid.

Gave it a first listen...this isn't bad at all. Somehow I didn't realize this was in English. I was surprised when I realized that it was, and then even a little disappointed actually. After a bit though it didn't matter and I really ended up liking his voice quite a lot.
The music is cool too. I'm not a big fan of post-punk, but these guys are obviously good at what they do. The fun and snotty vocals, the key-boards, and the acoustic guitar parts all really stood out in my mind. My favorites initially were: Follow - That bassline to open was great, and the alternating fast and slow parts worked well too. He sounds pretty angry. I laughed out loud at a couple of the lines in this song. "You drive so slow...you're old...you're SO F*CKING old." Also, "I'll turn right back, sh*t on your face...jack your c*m(?) while you walk your dog." (Is this what he was saying?! I kept rewinding it, and that's what I kept hearing. ><) Look Outside was a good track as well. I liked the second half of this song alot. Staying Alive - I saw this title pop up and was hoping for a beegee's cover. I got a little sad when it wasn't...but then towards the end it was like they read my mind. Good stuff. I'll give it a few more listens, cause I was sorta distracted on the first try, but I think I like it. |
