Unfortunately so. There are a couple of great songs on it though, namely those two in the mix. Most of the rest of the album is absolutely awful though, so any newcomers had best steer clear of that one.

Great comp though! A couple of my favorites are missing, most notably "The Auld Triangle" from Red Roses for Me, but such is the nature of every compilation. Great job!

Yeah, that's one of quite a few from that album to miss out. I almost included Kitty, Down In the Ground Where the Dead Men Go and Poor Paddy as well. The two that made are a couple of the most fun songs I've ever heard though, so I couldn't resist!

No Misty Morning, Albert Bridge? That was one of my favorites off the original comp from a while back. However I'll give this one a try and the Leonard Cohen as well.

One of the most sentimental songs ever for me, and an absolute favourite. I only decided to do two tracks per album though (barring all the extras at the end of the tracklisting), otherwise I'd have ended up with an even more ridiculously long mix than that one!

The Leaving Of Liverpool = A-BLOODY-ZING!

Heard the song in a mates irish dancing show a few months back and listen to it every morning in the car going to school. Getting on that Pogues stuff now now!

The Cohen link isn't working.... says it's temporarily unavailable. Is this just me?

It's a great little ditty - the version of it here makes for a great little drunken singalong too.

I've just checked it and it's looking fine to me. Megaupload often does weird crap like this - could be that you need to leave it for a bit and try again later. If it's still not working by then, let me know and I'll replace it with a mediafire link.
