Default Stuck in my music search :(

I am not sure if anyone else can relate. I would hope so (or my sake). But every so often, (maybe every month or two) I run out of energy and ideas for new music to listen to. There are good days I will find 5-10 albums I love, and not go to sleep that night. Then others like today where I sit there listening to "safety music" that I like but have heard to many times.

My question I suppose would be what do you all do when you hit a music wall, and end out listening to the same old stuff time and time again!?

I download an artist that people talk about, but I've never given a chance. Either that, or I'll try someone from a different genre.

Cool

i guess i'm pretty lucky, 'cuz almost EVERYTHING is new to me!

i did, however, sort of get stuck listening to some of the songs too much, but if that happens, there's always the MixTape Threads. i like the ones that have the youtube links ~ nice and easy to just click and listen.

Of course, you've been here for a while, and have probably worn some of those threads out.

Maybe a different genre or sub-genre?

Go to a band you like's myspace and click through random bands in the top until you hit something you haven't heard.

I've found some pretty good music that way.

Will definitely give it a try.

I am thinking of typing a random word in google and taking the first band it talks about.
