Digging some mid seventies Genesis tonight... namely the wonderfulTrick ofthe Tail, ahhh when Phil Collins was just another one of the guys in the band.... this is still a remarkably good album despite all it had going against it, he departure of Peter Gabriel, etc...

I'm getting towards concentrating more on writing than forumy/musicy stuff (so I haven't exactly been branching out much recently) and these albums have provided my musical backdrop;
^ This is working its way towards becoming my favourite Church album. It's kinda like Starfish's darker, longer and ultimately hotter cousin. ^ Rare as hen's teeth (or at least it was when I was looking for a copy), it's kind of like a middle-ground between the guy's earlier material and his later, gloomier, more experimental stuff. Very good album, even if it does lose its touch during the second half slightly. ^ One of those truly great, latter-day Bowie albums that a lot of people disregard. ^ And some Keith Hudson to lighten things up a bit. |

For me: Circulatory System - S/T I'm convinced that this is the best album to ever come out of Elephant 6. |
